Video/Editing Assistant and Councillor
I have always been fascinated with American culture and so this summer I decided to apply to work at a children's summer camp in the Eastern part of America. The application was endless and very tough because you had to answer so many questions in detail about why you wanted to work at camp, what you could bring to camp and why you want to work with children. It was a long and pricey process but worth it in the end as after many interviews I was selected to go to a camp fair where I would be hired by a camp.
The camp fair was last weekend and luckily I got placed straight away at a camp on the boarder of New York and Pennsylvania. I start working as a video and editing assistant along with working with the children, also being a councillor to them for 8 weeks this summer. I am so excited and thrilled to be working abroad especially because it is with children, I will be gaining so much experience and knowledge that I can use in the future if I decide to work with children again.
