I was lucky to get the Nine Lives Media question as I am interested in researching about audience participation that tv shows make avilable on a second screen. These extra interactive things can be anything such as twitter, live skype calls with people on the show, games, and apps. There are many more but these seem to be currently the most popular with many shows offering this. Thinking of target groups, most of these can be accessed on a mobile phone device which most people, particular the younger geneeration will want to use. Some of them we came across that offered most of these was Embarrassing Bodies. I feel that this is expanding and getting the audience really involved with the show after it has finished. With a show like this there can be many questions unanswered when it comes to illnesses, the show might not give you all the information you need as it has to be edited into the time slot it has. Therefore the website offers anything that could have been missed. Myself, Catherine and Carlie are going to start on the structure of the presentation when we organise a meeting before next weeks lesson.
