I Hate Seasons

Today in digital media tools, we decided on changing our ideas for our 1 minute stop frame animation. At first we were going to do a story about a girl who was getting ready for a date tat she was really excited about, but then she recieves a text from the boy and he tells her that he is getting back with his ex-girlfriend. We had really good ieas for the make up and setting of the girl's bedroom as she was getting ready. Although we took the pictures and they didn't turn out as well as we hoped. The lighting wasn't right and we didn't have enough pictures for the animation to last a minute. So instead we came up of an idea that has worked! We have drawn a stick man who goes through each season but it is all drawn out on a piece of paper. I drew each snowball, cloud and raindrop individually so I could move them slightly when taking each picture. I am really happy with the pictures so far and I cannot wait to see them speeded up so it does really look like the man is moving through each season. I called it 'I Hate Seasons' as the man struggles through each season and seems to not be happy with any of them.
