The Automatic

For the first time on Thursday 13th we all went to the room the Screen School calls the Automatic. It looks like the HQ for Google with its funky plants and globe lights scattered around the room. At first we all sat in the sofa's each with a keyboard and typed in on the massive projector screens what we thought the meaning of life is, we then voted for the best one. We then got into groups and got given a picture and we had to brainstorm what words came into our heads just from looking at the picture. We did the same but with words and we did a survey of which was the easiest to expand from; either an image or words. The image won as most people feel that an image is more inspiring than just looking at a word. We also made extravegent stories from our words and voted for the best. Our groups being 'fireflies instead of lights' which drew with another groups story. I found this lesson very helpful to get us thinking creativly which opened our minds to new things, ideas and working as a team.
