For the Creative Media Practice presentation for our final
project, I presented my Prezi to Mark and Ian that highlighted what I did to come
to my final ideas for the project. I also wrote on paper what I was going to
say during the presentation so I wasn’t just reading off my Prezi. As I have learned in the past that it is better to have little on the presentation and speak more as reading from a presentation doesn't work very well. I included
my research, how I came about using QR codes and how my final piece worked out.
I felt that overall it went quite well and I was glad that all of my QR codes
worked. I did not include much research details in my Prezi so I explained at
the end that my inspiration for folding my QR codes and sticking them on the
map came from some windows that I saw in a museum, where you have the option to
open them and read the information inside.I felt that this was more fun
and interesting then just reading a bulk of text or in my case just seeing the
QR codes stuck on the map as they are.
If i was to do this project again i think i would have expanded on my journey and got a bigger map and made my thread start from Liverpool and then go all the way to America. This would have made my project stronger and more interesting as i could have included my journey in more detail especially with the actual travelling part. I would also include some more about the friendships i made with the international councellors, such as the people i met from Australia who i worked closely with. I would have also written down more on the paper that I was reading from and I also would have added more images into my Prezi to make it more interesting and polished.
However i am pleased with my final project and I hope to gain good marks from it.
