Creative Media Practice - Interactive Videos

In this lecture we watched a couple of video's on YouTube to introduce us to interactive media. The video gave us options to click which lead to part of the story; you were able to go back if you decided against your first choice.
After watching more examples on YouTube, we were assigned to groups to make our own interactive videos to then upload to YouTube as part of the brief. Our group decided to create and interactive story based on morals and our aim was to give off a positive influence to the audience and to make people aware of what could happen when deciding to take drugs.
We had many question embedded in the video to give people a wide range of choices. We chose to do this because it was quite serious and hard hitting, as many peole may not take the full effects seriously, so the message we want to get across is memorable.

I felt that this is a good way of engaging with the audience and gaining their full attention because they can interact. I will most definitely be using this type of interactive media again in the future, especially because I have not used it before.

Our influences came from this video; it was very strong and we wanted to give a similar message to our audeince.
