Lime Pictures are offering 6 placements for students to work on the set of Hollyoaks, which is filmed locally in Childwall. I am extremely determined and keen to submit a application showing how eager I am for one of the positions. I am going to apply for the runners role as I have done it before and know what it involves. In the future I plan to carry on getting my foot in the door by doing runners jobs to experience different production environments. I am going to put the 3rd assistant role as my second choice because I have never done this before and not entirely sure what it will involve, either way I would be happy doing anything as any placement is valuable.
I am very anxious and excited at the same time to hear back from them, to see if I have gained a place or not. I would love this experience because I am a massive fan of the show and need to get as much work experience as possible which will benefit me greatly.
