The Dejeuner Show - Recording
The day of the TV show was nerve wracking as we got there at 9am and had to have the show completed by 1pm. At first I made sure the set was ready and positioned the presenters and the 2 guests Ricky and Steve so they fit nicely into the camera shots in the interview area. There was a lot of changing of the shots and angles so rehearsal time dragged out a lot but once we had the first recording of the show it went fairly well. There was a bit at the end that had to be re-shot because the top of Josh's, one of the presenters head got cut off so we filmed part of the end again.
I am really happy with how it went, although if it was to be done again I would have had the script more evened out, Hayley could have said more because it comes across that Josh is the main presenter out of the two as he had more lines in the script, when it should have been more even. I also really enjoyed playing the role of set designer, it suited me because I love interior design and it helped that I have a creative flair. I would like to experience other roles, especially the directors role because I'd like to have a go in the gallery and learn about the desk. I am looking forward to watching them back and seeing and noting down maybe anything that could have been improved for future reference.
